The licensed physical therapy staff at Mercy Medical Center is dedicated to assisting our patients recover from problems with bones, muscles, joints, and nerves that are associated with an accident, illness, or disease.  With a plan to promote and facilitate optimal health and human function a physical therapist can design a comprehensive care plan to help reduce pain, restore strength, and improve functional mobility, independence, flexibility and endurance.  The physical therapists at Mercy Medical Center work to help our patients achieve their highest level of functional independence prior to returning home. We also work closely with physicians and case managers to provide recommendations for other services when needed such as outpatient therapy, home health care, an acute rehabilitation facility, or a skilled nursing facility.
